I'm an Avid Fan

So I am not a serious TV watcher, however I am literally obsessed with this show. Actually obsessed is kind of an understatement. I love all of the characters. And two of them are quite the lookers. I want Brennan's (Bones) life, especially because Booth is quite the catch ;) So the first episode of the seventh season kicked off last night, and although I missed it because of work I had no choice to catch up as fast as I could. Which, luckily for me, was today. I know a lot of people don't like the show because of Bone's personality; that is what I think makes the show so great. She is blatantly honest, extremely smart in every subject, and kind of an oddball.  Her coworkers just add to every dimension and they are part of what makes the show a story. Anyways you either like the show or you don't! I just wanted show you the two lookers, enjoy:
Dr. Sweets, you are so dreamy
Oh Booth :)

Smooth Sundays

Double post for the fact that I have been lacking. Anyways, I think on Sundays I am going to start posting a song or two as a weekly thing. I hope people enjoy.
I love City and Colour, I find Dallas Green's voice to be amazing.
Enjoy.

No Internet = No new posts

I haven't had internet at my house for like a week now, which makes posting anything new kind of hard. So I finally had the chance to get some internet action, and I would like to share one of my Halloween costumes from this weekend :)

Ignore the girl in the background wearing the worlds shortest tutu, thing haha

So I put this together last minute, a PinUp 50's girl, and I didn't buy any of it. Yippee!
What is great about the era we live in today is that fashion is so versatile. There are so many time periods mixed into our culture which I find great.
I wore a black corset like top from Target, a white slip from Target, and some patent leather pumps in which I borrowed. Then I completed the look with pearls, a monroe freckle, and some bright red lipstick. Enjoy!
Hope your Halloween weekend was wonderful!
(even though Halloween really isn't until Monday, we'll pretend it was today)

This got me thinking

So I feel like I've never really had a "permanent" home. I have lived in about five different towns since I was age 7. My parents divorced when I was young and I guess my Dad (whom I lived with) moved whenever his wife needed to move because of school and work. I hope that when I get older and start my own family that we don't move as much as I did, I hope for my children to grow up in the same town and have the same friends, and to be able to keep those friends forever (an exaggeration). Anyways, this image is just so true to me. I guess I always feel best "at home" when I am with my best friends and the people I love. Plus this image is super duper cautteee! It would be cute to hang up in your house :)

And then I thought I would share with you guys this, so my post isn't so boring and mushy:
Using any polish of your choice pour onto a flat surface, take one of those spongy eyeshadow applicators and dip into the polish, dab the polish on your nail concentrating at the tip and moving slightly upward. Repeat until you get the desired effect. Put a topcoat over the entire nail.

SUPER ADORBS, yes I know :)

Lovely!

I absolutely love this DIY!
Such an adorable tutorial by Free People, who are one of my biggest inspirations!
You can find the original here of course, but I just wanted to share with you myself :)

So the first picture is just the materials you will need, and the second picture is the finish project. This would be great if you had some extra scraps of fabric laying around that you could use to spice up an old shirt. If i get around to doing one of my own then I will post the finished project.
If anyone else gets around to doing this, I want to see the finished project as well!
Love, Paris Rae
